FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports medicine. Test with constant load in form of succession of paired light impulses, separated with inter-impulse interval, which are repeated with constant time interval, is demonstrated. Threshold inter-pulse interval in which two impulses in pair fuse into one is determined periodically by method of successive approximation, and graph of dynamics of threshold inter-impulse interval in coordinates "value of threshold inter-impulse interval -time of testing" is built. Warm-up time is estimated by time of reaching "plateau" by graph of dynamics of threshold inter-impulse interval. First, tested person is shown test with constant load, equal 75% of proper maximal oxygen consumption, then, after rest, testing is repeated with load increased by 50 W until graph of dynamics of threshold inter-impulse interval has descending trend. Individual warm-up time for different load is determined by previous graphs of threshold inter-impulse interval, which have "plateau".
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase reliability of estimation of individual warm-up time for different loads.
