FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device has an inner electrode 1 with butt-end blind axial holes 2 with a female thread and an outer electrode 3 coaxial to it. A semi-permeable diaphragm 4 is placed between electrodes, dividing the annular cavity into an inner chamber 5 and an outer chamber 6. The outer chamber 6 has inlet and outlet pipes 7' and 7", which are connected to the chamber 6 through holes in that electrode. The inner chamber 6 has axial inlet and outlet pipes 8' and 8'' with inner axial blind holes 9' and 9''. On the open end of the pipe 8'(8"), facing inside the device, there is a cylindrical projection 10 with a male thread for interaction with the threaded opening 2 at the end of the inner electrode 1. The device has identical end caps, each of which consists of two parts 11, 12. The part 12 of the composite cap facing outside is pressed by the projection on pipe 8' (8") and washer 13. A current-carrying electrode 14 is held between the washer 13 and the outer surface of the cap. The second current-carrying electrode 15 is attached to outer electrode 3. Part 11 of the cap facing inside is a dielectric bushing and has channels 16, through which axial holes in pipes 8' (8") are linked to the inner cavity 5 through holes 17 in the side walls of the pipes. Channels 16 lie in radial planes and, preferably, are directed at an angle to the axis of the device.

EFFECT: increased reliability and duration of operating the device without replacing the inner electrode.
