FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: prior to operation, chamber 1 is lifted to upper position with the help up-and-down device 7. Tire 17 is placed on detachable bottom 4 for chamber 1 to be downed. Gaseous fuel is fed into manifolds 9 and 10 via pipeline to fire gas in torches 3 and 6. Chamber tube 1 is heated in combusting gaseous fuel via jackets 2 and 5. Pyrolysis decomposition of tire 17 occurs inside chamber 1 with no access of air to form synthesis-gas.
EFFECT: compact reactor allowing ease of mounting and operation.
