FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is designed to drive various machines. Thermal engine comprises foundation, rotor, working members and device to convert translation of working members into rotation of rotor. Rotor is mounted on the base to revolve thereon. Heat exchange chambers filled with working substance are arranged along the rotor circumference. Aforesaid working members interact with working substance and carry out translation motion. Aforesaid converter comprises a wheel fitted on the rotor to interact with that fitted on the base. Heat-exchange chambers represent tubes. Rotor comprises cups communicating with tubes and working members.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and expanded performances.
