SUBSTANCE: invention refers to power industry and can be applied to actuate various machines and aggregates. Thermal wind motor includes base where a shaft with rotor is mounted. The rotor includes heat exchange chambers filled with work medium and connected by ducts with work chambers with forward movement elements that can engage with locking devices in the ducts connecting heat exchange chambers with the work chambers. Work elements can engage with gears linked to a wheel mounted on the base. The shaft bears an impeller, and free-wheel clutches are installed between the rotor and the shaft and between the impeller and the shaft.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation.
