FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used to monitor the damaging action of herpes viral infection on red-cell membrane competence. There is offered diagnostic technique for red-cell membrane competence in peripheral blood of pregnant women suffering from exacerbated herpes viral infection. The technique is characterised that by disk step gradient polyacrylamide 10% gel electrophoresis with sodium dodecyl sulphate, healthy pregnant women and pregnant women suffering from exacerbated herpes viral infection are examined for the content of α-spectrin, β-spectrin and protein band 4.1in red-cell membranes. If α-spectrin is decreased to 6.8±0.02 standard units, β-spectrin - to 7.1±0.08 standard units, while protein band 4.1 is decreased to 3.2±0.05 standard units, red-cell membrane incompetence is diagnosed that causes gain in degenerate red-cell forms count.
EFFECT: traceability of damaging action of herpes viral toxins in exacerbated infection on red-cell cytoskeleton of peripheral blood.
