FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in determination of titre of antibodies IgG to cytomegalovirus (CMV) in peripheral blood, determination of band-4.1 protein in membranes of perripheral blood erythrocytes by gel-electrophoresis method, determination of structure of membranes of erythrocytes on peripheral blood smears in cytophotometric way by means of "Mekos" apparatus with further analysis on installation "Pirexa" by programme "BioVIsion". If titre of IgG antibodies to CMV is lower than 1:1600, reduction of band-4.1 protein to 4.11±0.08%, increase of quantity of echinocytes in peripheral blood to 8.80±0.09%, and degenerative forms of erythrocytes to 21.0±1.30%, treat of formation in pregnant women of hemic anaemia is estimated.
