FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: active system of image generation in millimetre range of waves is related to radio location and systems of telecommunication. System comprises antenna device configured for transmission in direction towards object available in object location, and reception of electromagnetic radiation from object available in object location, control device comprising transceiver configured for realisation of antenna device operation and generation of output signal specific for received radiation, and also processor adapted for transformation of transceiver output signal into video data specific for object image. Antenna device may be displaced, making partial or full turn around object, in direction towards object or to the side from object or in opposite direction towards antenna device related to it. Antenna units in antenna device may be installed along antenna array at different angles. Antenna arrays may be created from several segments of antenna array, and group of antenna arrays may be used in combined form for development of antenna device.

EFFECT: provision of surveillance and measurement in the fields distanced from location of objects.
