FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and namely to otorhinolaryngology and is meant for treatment of polypous rhinosinusitis during post-operation period. Action is performed with impulse current during post-operation period by means of Microlenar device in fronto-mastoidal plane at the frequency of 1000 Hz in strengthened mode, with pulse duration of 0.75 msec, and therapy dose of 1.0-1.2 mA once a day during 6 days with the procedure duration of 20 minutes.
EFFECT: method allows correcting the damaged immunological and vegetal status of the patients with recurrent nasal polypuses, as a result of which the nasal breathing is improved, and edema in the middle nasal passage is decreased, small polypous tissue is decreased, rhinorrhea is decreased, recurrence rate of nasal polypuses is decreased and treatment periods are reduced.
