FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed mass exchange column comprises cylindrical housing mounted at an angle to horizon and furnished with circular baffles on inner surface. Aforesaid housing includes bottom, cover reagent inlet/outlet branch pipes and shaft with rotary adapter. The latter comprises baffles fitted on the shaft and consists of filler arranged in chambers made up of top and bottom perforated plates that feature grooves to mate circular baffles of the housing.
EFFECT: increased contact of phases, higher efficiency of mass exchange.
