FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mass transfer column and can be used for separation of a wide range of isotopes by rectification and chemical exchange methods. Mass transfer column comprising cylindrical housing installed at an angle to horizon, equipped with end covers, pipes for inlet and outlet of reagents and rotating mass transfer part arranged inside the housing, made in the form of cylindrical perforated cassettes, containing bulk filler – nozzle, with outer surface having helical groove made with pitch smaller than bulk filler element size, in which wire is arranged, wherein end sections of cassettes are equipped with separators with rolling elements and annular partitions, and end – by elements of mutual fixation in the form of cam clutches, characterized by that with upper end cylindrical perforated cassette is connected to additional disc, plane-parallel to casing cover and containing on opposite side of cassette magnetic elements, and on the outer side of the end cover there is a second plane-parallel outer side of the housing cover and a disc located on the shaft, on the side opposite to the shaft of which there are magnetic elements.
EFFECT: reduced losses of working substances, increased concentration of the target component of the isotopic mixture, increased overhaul of equipment and higher efficiency of the plant.
