FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sound insulating panel is in form of geometrical figures, attached on both sides to flexible material. There are openings in the steel plates, which are larger than long objects of various cross-section passing through the openings. On both sides of the plates at the centre of the openings, there are two split discs, held by laminated springs fixed on the steel plates. The two split discs can move radially.
EFFECT: improved sound insulating properties.
