FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing liquid glass involves grinding, batching, mixing and dissolving silicate lumps in water in a mixer. The silicate lumps are ground using blast energy in a metal mould, loaded with specific impulse of 0.12-0.2 MPa·s, and the obtained powder is put into a mixer with water at temperature not less than 40°C. The ratio of water to silicate lumps is chosen, based on requirements for the liquid glass.
EFFECT: invention increases output and reduces power consumption during production of liquid glass.
