FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing technique. Sealing device of rotating shaft contains sleeve, mobile relative to it shaft and metallic seal ring. On shaft it is implemented butt resistant ring surface, and seal ring is implemented continuous, is installed in sleeve by tight fit and is pressed to butt resistant ring surface of shaft in axial direction by nut, for which on shaft it is cut thread, through clamping sleeve with tightening torque, providing selection of axial clearance in connection. Seal ring is implemented from metal with temperature coefficient of linear growth more than metal allows from which it is implemented sleeve and shaft, with ability of selection of grooves in connection at operation of sealing device in conditions of action of high temperatures.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability of connection tightness.
