FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metering equipment and may be used mostly for measurement of angular position of rotor in galvanometric scanators for laser marking and engraving, and also for measurement of angular position of objects with limited turn angle. Converter is made in the form of induction coil with "П"-shaped magnetic conductor with flat poles, closed via air gap by movable core. Core is made in the form of rectangular plate. Axis of movable core rotation is parallel to plane of poles plane in "П"-shaped magnetic conductor and lies in plane that passes through side surface of "П"-shaped magnetic conductor.

EFFECT: simplified manufacturing, good linearity of conversion function.
