SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to communication technique. There are provided system and method intended for monitoring of video connection between calling and called video terminals. Above set system contains Mobile Services Switching Center server (center MSC), Media server (MGW communication server), Video communication server of network interconnection (VIG communication server) and monitoring receiving unit. When videophone call is directed by the video terminal to the called video terminal Mobile Services Switching Center server of MSC center assigns MGW communication server to copy data of the communication session, transferred data of the communication session into VIG communication server and assigns VIG communication server to demultiplex data of the communication session into audio and video streams. VIG communication server transfers these audio and video streams into the receiving unit of the monitoring for reproduction.
EFFECT: monitoring of videophones, whereat monitoring may be flexible without limitations and restrictions by time and place.
