FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: desulphuration plant comprises reactor with fluidized layer, regenerator with fluidised layer communicated with aforesaid reactor, regenerator receiver linked up, via dead inserted joint, with regenerator and reducer with fluidised layer communicated with aforesaid receiver and, via dead inserted joint, with reactor. Proposed method of fluid medium desulphuration comprises the following stages, i.e. (a) bringing aforesaid fluid medium containing hydrocarbons in contact with solid particles in desulphuration zone under desulphuration conditions sufficient to remove sulphur from the said medium, producing solid particles saturated with sulphur and transferring the said solid particles from aforesaid zone to regeneration zone; (b) bringing aforesaid solid particles saturated with sulphur in contact with regeneration flow under regeneration conditions sufficient to remove sulphur from aforesaid solid particles thus producing oxidised solid particles, transferring concentrated phase of the said particles from regeneration zone to reduction zone; (c) bringing aforesaid oxidised solid particles in contact with reducing flow containing hydrogen in reduction zone under reduction conditions sufficient for reducing aforesaid oxidised solid particles thus producing reduced solid particles, and (d) transferring concentrated phase of aforesaid reduced solid particles from reduction zone to desulphuration zone. Invention covers some other versions of the desulphuration method and plant.
EFFECT: continuous removal of sulphur at low costs.
