FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: device is proposed for thorough mixing of solid particles and a gaseous medium in a fluidized layer with gas and solid particles, containing a set of corrugated and/or ribbed flat racks located in alternating intersecting planes, which provide a set of open spaces between alternating intersecting flat racks or next to them. An element has a configuration of a three-dimensional grid, and corrugated and/or ribbed flat racks are made of metal with vertices and recesses or ribs, so that vertices and recesses or ribs are located at an angle of less than 90 degrees from a slope line of the flat rack, when assembled to the element. Angular vertices and recesses or ribs form channels, which increase transverse movement of catalyst particles to spaces between racks, providing improved mixing of vapor and solid particles and their contact.

EFFECT: creation of structured filling elements, which require smaller number of elements for increasing desorption efficiency, as well as require less amount of vapor for achieving optimal desorption efficiency.
