FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for reducing, modifying and micro-alloying of steels of wide range of application. According to the first version wire consists of a steel shell and filler containing a modifier with silicocalcium or silicocalcium with metal calcium and halogens at the following ratio of components, wt %: modifier 90-98, halogens 2-10. Additionally modifier contains ferrosilicobarium. Introducing such wire into melt expands temperature-time interval of effect of modifier elements of wire to melt and intensifies the process of its refining. According to the second version wire filler additionally contains strengthening alloy in kind of one or several materials chosen from a group including ferrovanadium, ferrotitanium, ferroniobium, ferromolybdenum at the following ratio of components, wt %: silicon-calcium modifier 40-70, halogens 2-10, strengthening alloy 20-58.
EFFECT: apart from expanding temperature-time interval of effect of filler elements of wire on metal melt and intensification of its refining process dispersed hardening phases are uniformly spread in structure of metal during micro-alloying of metal with strengthening alloys.
