FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to cast heat-resistant ferrite steel for production of fire bars of sintering machines operating under conditions of cyclic heating at temperature above 1000°C. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, sulphur, phosphorus, aluminium, tungsten and iron at the following ratio of components, wt %: carbon 0.75 ÷ 0.95, silicon 0.50 ÷ 1.25, manganese 0.40 ÷ 0.80, chromium 18.0 ÷ 22.0, sulphur not more 0.040, phosphorus not more 0.040, aluminium 0.01 ÷ 0.06, tungsten 0.20 ÷ 0.65, iron - the rest. Additionally steel can contain molybdenum at amount of 0.05 ÷ 0.25 wt %.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance of steel and fire bars made out of this steel.
