FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to development of compound of cast austenitic steel, used for manufacturing of details for ore-dressing manufacturing operating in conditions of increased impact loading and abrasive wear. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, nitrogen, phosphorus, chrome, cerium and iron, at following correlation of components, wt %: carbon 0.80 ÷ 0.95, silicon 0.30 ÷ 0.60, manganese 8.50 ÷ 10.50, nitrogen 0.020 ÷ 0.045, phosphorus not more than 0.070, chrome 0.75 ÷ 1.10, cerium 0.03 ÷ 0.10, iron is the rest. Steel can additionally contain sulphur in amount not more than 0.010 wt %, and also lanthanum and neodymium with total content less than half of cerium content. Total content of cerium, lanthanum and neodymium not exceed 0.1 wt %.
EFFECT: increasing wear resistance and flexible properties of steel.
