FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, to electromagnet couplings, and may be used for remote control of shafts engagement in case of impact load and high transmission torque. Electromagnetic coupling has toroidal magnetic conductor 1, annular winding of control 2, non-magnetic bush 3 of drive shaft 11, disks of master and slave shaft 4 and 5 accordingly, comprising alternating ferromagnetic and non-magnetic elements, non-magnetic bush 6 of slave shaft 7, thick disk of master shaft 8, disk of slave shaft 9, non-magnetic bush 10 of master shaft 11. Due to introduction of several disks of master and slave shafts, electromagnetic coupling is produced with high transmission torque.
EFFECT: increase of transmission torque with preservation of dimensions.
