FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: water mist generating head includes case for double flow with water and gas main, axially symmetrical gas nozzles and annular water channel located concentrically between the nozzles. Water channel features water nozzle at outlet section, converging towards axis. Central and external annular gas nozzles have de Laval nozzle profile with outlet channel and walls parallel to axis.
EFFECT: head is intended for fire extinction and deactivation of chemical and biological contaminations and maintains high grade of water dispersion under 200 mcm, high flow rate of dispersed fluid and wide range of mist spreading to 8-10 m approx.
