FIELD: treatment plants.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns devices for mechanical admixture removal from fluids. Filter includes case with inlet pipe and two-stage filtering element inside the case, with first stage made in the form of hollow cylinder out of rigid macroporous polymer material, and second stage installed in the first one and made in the form of pack of rigid microporous polymer units of hollow tapered conical shape with tilt angle of 30°, with peripheral cylindrical ledges at the cone base allowing to match larger and smaller cone bases in turns. Number of units in a pack is even, the units are oriented by smaller bases towards the pack ends. First and second stage pore size ratio is defined by given filtering fineness.

EFFECT: prolonged operational life of filtering element in filter due to reduced flow resistance of element, simplified filter production technology.
