FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: disintegrated wood is loaded through a loading unit 2 to a horizontal reactor 1 with continuous counterflow supply of heat carrier from a fire chamber 8 by a screw 3 set at the beginning of the reactor 1 horizontal channel; separate dense but gas permeable layers of wood particles are produced continuously by prepressing. Pyrolysis is carried out sequentially in each prepressed layer with simultaneous withdrawal and condensation of steam and gases and their filtration in the prepressed layer.

EFFECT: invention allows for the increase of the disintegrated wood continuous thermal processing efficiency, increase the level of the wood waste utilisation, provide for meeting of the environment safety requirements due to the absence of toxic emissions into the environment.
