FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: using a device which contains posts and bars, identical misalignment is made on axes of the bars, mounted on posts, lying parallel on shaft axes of the assembly of equal length or using a clamp on the surface of the shafts, the length of which differs by the value of difference between shafts of the assemblies, and misalignment between axes of the bars is measured.

EFFECT: possibility of measuring in any convenient place around the shafts.
