FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: metre with point in form of platform and/or recording device is set on place of location directly or via pole with ruler under first shaft or first position of measured object facilitating contact of point at zero value of metre. The point in form of a platform turns and is equipped with an angle metre. The metre is fixed and the measuring device is transferred to the place of location under the second shaft or the measured object is transferred into the second position directly or with an additional pole which contacts the platform of the metre. There is measured misalignment of shafts, angles of their incline, axial and radial setoff in vertical and/or horizontal planes and also summary gaps of measured objects.

EFFECT: expanded range of application and simplified process of measurement.
