FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: main element of AC voltage detection and indication is liquid-crystal display (1). According to invention, indicator differs by the fact that its body (8) has shape of frame with intensely hydrophobic surface, at the same time frame is covered with transparent plate (9) in front and conductive element (10) at the back. At least one row of peripheral ribs (11) is located around frame window. Liquid-crystal display (1) is tightly installed between transparent plate (9) of frame window and conductive element (10) and has electrodes in the form of conductive segments. One of these conductive segments is a current-collecting electrode of indicator, and the other of these conductive elements has a conductive wire connected to it, joined to conductive element (10) of indictor by means of coupler (23), which is connected via resistive element to terminal (12), which is connected to current-collecting electrode.
EFFECT: simple design, low size, durability and reliability.
