FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns section of medical equipment, namely monitoring devices for medical X-ray inspection equipment. A geometry definition device for linear x-ray tomograph comprises a supported body with metric elements making a report system, mounted on a deck of a tomographic table. The body is shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped. There is a protective shield made of metal of high atomic number. The metric elements represent scintillation detectors each containing an in-built photoelectric cell, and a scintillator connected thereto and outboard perpendicularly to its lateral surface. The photoelectric cells are connected through a power signal conditioning unit to a microprocessor representing an actual depth of the specified section concerning the scale with its zero reading matched with the deck level of the tomographic table.
EFFECT: application of the invention allows reducing time of geometry control of the linear X-ray tomograph.
