FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to devices separating pilot from towing engine that pulls pilot out from cab via towing halyard. Proposed towing lock comprises casing accommodating cup with springs coupled with collapsible bell cranks, one end of which seat on fixed axle while the other one engages thrust lever that latches the hook with two-arm support fitted thereon. One part of towing halyard is arranged on lock casing. Towing lock comprises also spring-loaded slide that actuates lever whereon lever rests which retains the plate supporting towing halyard other part. Note that the slide is locked by rope in initial position, said rope being pulled out in tensioning towing halyard.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced weight and sizes.
