FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making powdered tubular filter elements, and particularly to a making filter element for cleaning high-temperature gas. The method of making the filter element involves obtaining a dispersed mixture of clay and bentonite in water at the stage for making the charge mixture. The obtained mixture is added to a uniform powder of corundum with the following ratio of components in the charge mixture, wt %: corundum 85 to 95, clay 1.5 to 5.0, bentonite 3.5 to 10, water over 100% from 5 to 15. Components of the charge mixture are homogenised, obtaining uniform, porous agglomerates. A press mould is filled with the obtained agglomerates with simultaneous exposure to harmonic vibrations along the longitudinal axis of the press mould. The press mould is evacuated and hydrostatic moulding is done. Drying is done, with subsequent burning at melting temperature of bentonite (between 1200 and 1600°C).
EFFECT: improved quality of products with minimum confidence range of strength and gas permeability properties.
