FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic material, in particular to processes of making ceramic filtering elements, which have the shape of a rotation body, designed for filtering pulp and drainage of electro-deposits. A water suspension with water content of 35-45% is formed, containing mono-fractional electrocorundum, bentonite and 10-90% mass of disthene sillimanite concentrate, with grain size identical to the grain size of the electrocorundum. From the water suspension, the material components are put on porous base, which is fixed on a work-holding device. The porous base is rotated with simultaneous dispersion of the suspension on the filtering surface along the axis of rotation at constant speed of displacement dispersion patch. Thermal treatment is done at temperatures when the disthene turns into mullite.
EFFECT: broader technological capabilities and lower the water permeability confidence limit of the product.
