FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-alumina refractory mixtures and products with operating temperature in the range 1600 to 1650°C or above. The molten refractory material contains the following components, wt %: Na2O - 0.8 to 3.0; CaO - 6.0 to 12.0; Cr2O3 - 6.0 to 12.0; MgO - 1.0 to 3.0; SiO2 - 0.2 to 0.4; Al2O3 - the rest.
EFFECT: increased resistance of refractory material to highly-aggressive reducing media, molten highly-active light metals.
