FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine comprises housing, rotor-type piston pairs, intake valve, exhaust orifices, jet, spark plug, rotor-type position pickups and stops. Aforesaid piston pairs share one shaft mounted in one operating chamber to revolve thereon to periodically dividing operating chamber into four chambers. Every piston pair stays in symmetry with rotational axis. Intake valve and exhaust orifice communicate with working chamber formed between housing inner surface and shaft outer surface. Piston position pickups are fitted in pistons and on shaft. Piston position stops are fitted in pistons, housing and on shaft.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, specific output and reduced engine volume.
