FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: self-oscillator frequency is measured. Self-oscillator oscillatory circuit comprises Eddy-current transformer wired to reference and controlled entities. Frequencies of reference and controlled entity self-oscillators are compared. Note that frequencies are measured for several magnitudes of self-oscillator oscillatory circuit components, at least one of which being controlled component. Properties of entity are set in compliance with plurality of variations in frequencies on which measurements have been made. Number of aforesaid frequencies may not be less than that of controlled parametres.

EFFECT: tuning out from effects of uncontrolled properties.
