FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: in method distribution of electric field intensity is visualised, using produced image, relief of investigated object surface is assessed. Device comprises electrode, AC voltage generator to create electric voltage between investigated surface and electrode. Between electrode and surface of investigated object there is sensitive element of device for visualisation of electric field intensity distribution. Electrode is arranged as optically transparent, in shape that is geometrically similar to shape of investigated surface.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of control due to visualisation of product surface relief from conductive material on the whole needed section of surface.
