FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and can be applied in clinical laboratory diagnostics for diagnosing ascaridiasis. Three-ingredient floatation system consisting of saturated solutions of zinc chloride, sucrose and sodium chloride with ratio 1.5:1:1 (volume/volume/volume). To prepare flotation mixtures saturated water solutions of zinc chloride (ZnCl2, ρ - 1.82), sodium chloride (NaCl, ρ - 1.19) and sucrose are used as ingredients. Specific weight of prepared flotation solutions is determined by means of densimeter at t 125°C. Fresh feces sample of 1 gram weight is suspended in 10 ml of water, filtered through metal filter with pore size 0.5×0.5 mm. Obtained filtrate is centrifuged at 1500 g during 5 min. Then obtained sediment is suspended in flotation solution and centrifuged at 1500 g during 5 min. Coming to surface cysts concentrating in superficial solution film are removed by means of standard metal loop and their number is counted in 0.2 ml volume of floatation liquid without cover glass with ocular with ×10 fold magnification and objective with ×20 fold magnification.

EFFECT: method ensures optimisation of helminth-ovoscopic diagnostics of ascaridiasis, lying in increase of eggs detection and quantitative evaluation of degree of organism invasion with said parasite.
