FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises insulant casing (1) housing two leadouts (2) locked therein and furnished with fixed contacts (3). There is adjusting screw (4) fitted at the casing center and having ledge to support thermobimetallic sensitive element (5) representing a disk. Device comprises also movable contacts (6) fixed on foresaid disk and having extending parts that enter the casing slots, return spring (7), button (8) and cover (9). Initiating current flowing through aforesaid sensitive element (5) heats the latter to critical temperature for it to click and open instantly the contacts. Sensitive element reset temperature is lower than ambient temperature. To reset contact into closed state, it is required to depress button (8).

EFFECT: higher reliability, ease of manufacture.
