FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device to joint together (positive and negative) plate ears (12, 14) via bridges, and insert thus obtained packs into storage battery boxes. Aforesaid ears are treated with flux and using brushes at casing bay (270). Bridges (16, 18) with flanges (17, 19) intended for intercellular connections (24) are jointed to aforesaid ears of stacked positive and negative plates. Storage battery plate packs (10) are fitted into compartments (22) for storage battery cells. Cartridges (30) are used to displace plate packs (10) wherein the latter are pressed together between fixed and movable walls (305, 307). Note that ears (12) of positive plates are located on one lengthwise side of aforesaid cartridges, while only ears (14) of negative plates are located on the other lengthwise side.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
