FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ophthalmology and can be used for keratoconus surgery. Lamellar keratotransplantation is performed: with using a microkeratom, a corneal layer of thickness 200 mcm is removed. The formed bed of the recipient's eye is covered with deepithelised donor cornea of thickness 300 mcm and diametre related to that of the bed also cut out with using the microkeratom. The graft is fixed with uninterrupted suture, and then a contact lens is applied for at least 5 days. Three months after corneal grafting, sutures are removed. And three months after removal of sutures, excimer laser phototherapeutic keratectomy, and photorefractive keratectomy follow according to calculation data. After the surgery, the contact lens is applied again for at least 5 days.
EFFECT: reduced risk of graft rejection and ensured high visual acuity.
