FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making keratotopographic test for determining cone apex with centering eximer laser beam position on the cone apex and carrying out photorefraction keratotomy. Photorefraction keratotomy is carried out in 5.8-7.0 mm ablation zone and with vision undercorrection to -1.0-1.5 D on spherical component and to -0.5-(-1.0) D on cylindrical component with following photorefraction keratotomy. EFFECT: improved vision acuity; stopped progressive development of keratocone phenomena.
