FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For surgical treatment of keratoconus in a patient with indications for refractive laser intervention by means of a femtolaser, corresponding lenticule in form of three-dimensional biolens is cut out in the thickness of corneal stroma, extracted and subjected to excimer laser ablation to form hypermetropic profile taking into account keratometric and refractive parameters of keratoconus patient, in which the intra-stromal volumetric pocket is formed by means of a femtolaser and the lenticule is placed in it. Lenticule is removed and placed through the side micro access outside the optical zone.
EFFECT: method enables restoring corneal thickness, inhibiting further keratoconus progression, and improving visual acuity.
