FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. The therapy starts with photorefraction and phototherapeutic keratectomy with cornea exposed to excimer laser of wavelength 193 nm, exposure depth 50 mcm and diametre 9.0 mm. It is followed with circular laser thermokeratoplasty with cornea exposed to ytterbium-erbium laser light of wavelength 1540 nm, exposure depth 600 - 700 mcm. Herewith cornea periphery is covered with coagulates in staggered rows comprising two-three rings of diametre 8.0 - 10.0 mm.
EFFECT: method provides cornea fixation within ectasia with recovered sphericity and improved visual acuity thus developing the support function along the whole circle through cornea depth.
