FIELD: fire engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes heating of the fire engine pump for low temperatures by delivering processed gases formed when the fuel is burnt into the additional hollow made in the pump body, the heating jacket connected to the escape path of the engine base underframe of the fire engine using the pipe branch of the delivery of the processed gases and the switching device. In order to enlarge the heat-exchange surface the heating jacket consists of the range of the parallel channels round and rectangle shaped or of any other shape. Also the heating jacket of the pump has the pipe branch of the delivery of the processed gases and the pipe bend thereof. In order to transfer effectively the heat of the fire-extinguishing liquid located in the pump's hollow the pipe branch for the delivery of the processed gases is placed on the opposite side of the fire engine body.
EFFECT: invention precludes the ice-covering and freezing of the main fire power pipe passageways.
