FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, lubricating systems of internal combustion engines at their operation in non-steady states of after-start warm-up. SUBSTANCE: engine is started on reference fuel, and during the period of after-start warm-up a mixture of fuel with motor oil additive is fed to the cylinders; the after-start warm-up of the engine is performed under-load in the process of vehicle motion, and the fuel-oil mixture is fed to the cylinders until the temperature of lubricating oil in the oil sump attains plus 50-60 C, then the engine is transferred to supply with reference fuel. EFFECT: accelerated gaining of engine operating mode. 2 cl, 2 dwg
