FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the devices of automatic monitoring of the carriage of the train in particular, to the devices monitoring the coupling of the carriages. Devices consists of the train's carriage detector to identify speed and location of the railway train carriage real time, detector of locomotive to detect the speed and location of the train's locomotive real time, data processing block to identify the coupling of the railway carriage and locomotive comparing the speed or location values received from the detector of the railway carriage and locomotive's detector. It also includes the output unit providing the signal receipt from the data processing block and delivering the message as to the release of the railway carriage. The group of inventions helps to define the difference between the speed values of locomotive and the railway carriage, or the change of the length of the train when the train is on the run which helps to identify if the train is released.

EFFECT: invention provides for the improvement of the accuracy of the condition of the train carriage and locomotive coupling.
