FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: filter holder for espresso coffee making machines contains a bowl-shaped body having a basically cylindrical shape relative to the axis. The body is open in the upturned area for pressure-tight installation on an espresso coffee making machine and has a hole in its bottom positioned on the axis of the said bowl for passage of extracted beverage. The filter holder has an adaptor that is inserted into the bowl and is basically cylindrical to contain a substance in a powder form the beverage is to be extracted from. The adapter may rotate coaxially relative to the bowl.
EFFECT: invention enables facilitation of the filter holder removal from the extraction unit after beverage extraction completion.
