FIELD: metallurgy industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for moving workpiece between presses consists of device controlling the movement on the basis of the resultant target value. The above value is obtained considering the location of matrix of the press located upstream in the direction of workpiece movement, and location of matrix of the press located downstream. Control device sets the obtained resultant target value thus providing smooth movement of workpiece grabbing device.

EFFECT: decreasing vibrations of the device for moving workpiece without increasing its mechanical stiffness.
