FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention pulse arc welding is carried out in inert gas with alternate current and with non-melting electrode. Pulses of current of amount (3.5-5.0)Imb of duration 0.003-0.006 sec, where Imb is current of arc, are supplied to arc in the periods of half-wave of direct polarity from an additional source.
EFFECT: upgraded indices of hot brittleness due to increased process hardness of metal of seam.
