FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing ballistic rocket fuel charge (BRFC) in the form of grain with face armoring elements comprises compressing BFRC grain containing cellulose nitrate plasticised by semi-volatile nitrate esters, chemical stability stabilisers, combustion catalysts and processing aids, forming face armoring elements and jointing them to produced grain at hydraulic press. Face armoring elements are formed by pressing L-1-grade polymethyl acrylate-based composition. Armoring elements are jointed to the grain by sintering for 3 to 5 minutes at 120°C to 140°C followed by cooling for 3 to 8 minutes. Note here that one of the produced face armoring element is placed on the mold bottom. Then grain from ballistic rocket solid fuel is placed in the same mould. Armoring element is placed on the other face of aforesaid grain from ballistic rocket solid fuel and resulted assembly in placed in the other mould.
EFFECT: secure joint, higher accuracy of fire.
